QPR's Tony Fernandes and Lakshmi Mittal Receive "Investors in Football" Award at Asian Football Awards

The Asian Football Awards were held last night at Wembley. Tony Fernandes and Lakshmi Mittal received the award for "Investors in Football."

There were several other nominees for awards which didn't win.
- QPR - Player Development Centre (West London) nominees in the "Football Development project of the year" category.
- QPR's Sangi Patel is one of the nominees for "Woman Footballer of the Year."
- Sangi Patel (Physio) is also nominated in the "Football behind the scenes award - 'Medical'
- Former QPR Player, Zesh Rehman was one of the Nominees for Asian Footballer of the year. Rehman's Zesh Rehman Foundation was also nominated for Football Foundation of the year
